Admission policy Wise
Like all schools, Wijs adheres to the national rules for admission and referral of students. Our school is open to children of parent(s)/guardian(s) who support our Holistic identity and our educational vision. The intention statement below is not a registration but an indicator regarding the number of registrations; no rights can be derived from this.
Admission policy
1 Statement of Intent
The parents sign this statement at Wise.
2. First introductory meeting
During this meeting, both parents/guardians and the entire admissions board of Wijs will be present. Wijs' vision will be shared with the parents, and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers. The child itself is not present at this meeting.
3 Wise workshop for the parents
This workshop provides parents with the opportunity to break away from traditional educational practices and common beliefs about education in society. During this workshop, parents learn to look at education in a innovative way, even if they already do this to some extent. The workshop is designed to ensure that all parents are aligned in the same direction. It is a collective effort in which multiple parents will participate.
4 Introduction period with Wise
After steps 1, 2, and 3 have been successfully completed and both parties agree, the child gets the opportunity to get acquainted with Wijs. This is a flexible period during which the child has the chance to experience the new education. During this period, a day is also scheduled for the parents, allowing them to observe a day at Wijs from the sidelines.
5 interview Wise
After all previous steps have been successfully completed by the parents, the child and the Wijs team, the hiring interview takes place. All parties involved will be present during this meeting: the child, the parents and the Wijs recruitment board. All aspects are reviewed again to ensure that everything is clear to all parties. Following this conversation, the first image of the child is recorded in our tracking system.
